Rob Archer

Rob is from Philadelphia but has been a part of the UVA community since 1980 where he was introduced to Charlottesville as an undergraduate mechanical engineering student and Track and Field athlete.  Rob also completed his graduate studies in 1994 at the Darden Graduate School of Business.  

His professional career includes work for large multinational organizations, like AT&T and IBM, as well as several start up and entrepreneurial endeavors.  One of the more recognizable endeavors to the local Charlottesville community started by Rob and his wife of 25 years is Arch’s Frozen Yogurt.  He also is currently a managing partner of a commercial real estate investment group.

Rob is actively engaged in the development of the youth in the Charlottesville community through his service on The Covenant School Board and The First Tee of the Virginia Blue Ridge. He also coaches youth lacrosse and basketball. He is a father of 4 and spends as much time as possible helping to manage the daily demands of a young family.
